What is the movie A Monster in Paris about?
It is the year 1910 and the place of the story this animated movie follows is Paris. You would think immediately that there is a romance going on.. and it does, kind of. The director and one of the writers Bibo Bergeron make an amazing animated adventure comedy that is capable of keeping anyone captivated and hooked to the screen throughout the whole movie. You might say that animated movies are for kids only, but.. Give it a try, you might have another opinion once it's done. It all stars in Paris in 1910. Instantly the audience gets to know Maud, who is a young but very troubled cinema worker and his friend, Raoul, a simple delivery boy. Besides them, there is a gorgeous opera singer Lucille. But, this movie includes four main characters. So, who is the fourth you might ask. To answer this question, we go on a journey that will explain all. When a local scientist made a super powerful fertilizer, a flea gets somehow in touch with it and grows to be huge. Because that fertilizer wasn't the only thing in the mix, but contained 'Atomize-a-Tune', this now giant flea only wants to sing. Lucille gets to meet that creature first and she discovers how gentle he is and gives him name Francoeur, which has the meaning of "honest heart". With terrified citizens in Paris and the police after Francoeur, Lucille and her two friends help the creature not get caught.
