The action of the movie unfolds in 1818, Indiana. A nine-year-old Abraham Lincoln, future President of the United States of America, stands on the knees at his mother’s bed, who is dying with a strange disease, known at that time as ‘Milk Sickness’. Much later, grieving over his mother’s death, Abraham Lincoln, will realize that his mother’s death was caused by a vampire’s bite. Learning the truth gives Lincoln the forces for vengeance; he decides to become the master not only of his body, but also his spirit and gets skillful with ax, having great heights and physical abilities for this. His path of vengeance will finally lead him to the White House. Though Abraham Lincoln is known for freeing millions of salves, his devotion to the struggle with the forces of the undead were remaining a mystery through the hundreds of years. Only after Seth Grahame-Smith found Abraham Lincoln’s ‘The Secret Journal’, and let others know about it in more than 140 years. Timur Bekhmambtov directs this movie on a script by Seth Grahame-Smith that is an adaptation of his own novel.
