The story begins with a young couple, Ruth Guthrie and Bob Muldoon, running away and getting surrounded by the police, until she accidentally kills one of them. Bob, who is played by Casey Affleck, takes the blame and goes to prison for killing a cop. Ruth, who is played by Rooney Mara, gets left behind, only being able to worry about him. While he is in prison he writes her letters, dreams of her, of their daughter he never got to meet. And when he finally escapes the prison and heads back to her, lots of dangerous situations start to happen. Director David Lowery gave an amazing insight into his ideas and ways of thinking as he was creating this movie. Acting cast, that consists of Academy award nominees Casey Affleck and Rooney Mara, showed their irreplaceable acting skills and talents as they sunk into their characters and presented them on big screen with lots of passion. The whole movie focuses more onto the character development, they ways of thinking, their reactions and their maturing, and not so much on the story itself. Which is exactly why this movie is so amazingly real to it's audience and keeps them from blinking, so they wouldn't miss a thing as they watch it at home. This is a crime drama romance that was released in August 2013, making the masses mind blown.
