Based on the children's favourite book, Alice in Wonderland, written by Lewis Carroll, comes a movie adaptation done by Linda Woolverton, which was directed by one and only Tim Burton. This movie adaptation includes parts of books "Alice in Wonderland" as well as parts from "Alice on the other side of the Mirror". It revolves around a young girl called Alice (Mia Wasikowska), who struggles to fit into the regular society, as the guy that is courting her proposes her on her birthday party in front of all of her guests. As she runs away from all of that, she stumbles upon a hole in the ground and finds herself in a pretty strange land. That awakens her memories, everything that happened when she was little, which only makes her think that she wasn't crazy after all. Seeing the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp),Tweedledee and Tweedledum (Matt Lucas) again, The White Rabbit as well was the thrill. But, Alice wasn't prepared for what the Wonderland has became after she was gone, when she went back into the real world. Now, everything there is made to hunt her down and serve her as lunch or prisoner. Now, she must deal not only with the Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter), but restore the throne for the White Queen (Anne Hathaway) and beat the Jabberwocky before she manages to find the way back into her world again.
