What is the movie Alien 2 about?
Aliens aka Alien 2 is a 1986 movie directed by James Cameron and it is one of those big movies that you will remember once you see them. There is a long list of reasons for high ratings of this movie and if you are a fan of Sci-Fi movies with a lot of action and adventure, then there is no time for wasting if you haven't seen this movie yet. Sigourney Weaver is marvelous in Alien 2 as Ellen Ripley, and we also have to mention Bill Paxton as Private Hudson, Michael Biehn as Dwayne Hicks... Ellen Ripley is the sole survivor of the alien attack. She survived on the Nostromo ship and another Sci-Fi element of the movie is the fact that she awakens half a century later. The salvage ship actually finds her. The welcome was not very warm for her and there was no one who wanted to believe that she has actually found any aliens. She has lost the officer license and everyone thought that this is the end of her career. But, when it comes to the movie, when one story ends, the other begins and that was the case with Alien 2 as well. The planet LV-426 is colonized by the company, that is what she has discovered. They called her back to fight the aliens.

The most startling thing watching Alien again is its pacing. For the first 45 minutes, little happens. It's all slow, exquisite build-up, which makes the second half seem all the more horrific.
