How to Treat a Celebrity You're Dating

What is the movie Alvin and the Chipmunks about?
This amazing story begins with getting to know three cute little chipmunks- Alvin, Simon and Theodore. They are sweet as sugar and they know how to sing. But when their forest gets cut down and they end up in a bag, sent to Los Angeles, there is a lot of things that are about to change in their lives. As they somehow manage to escape the airport and being circus freaks in the middle of the crowd, Alvin, Simon and Theodore find themselves in a peaceful neighbourhood in someone's backyard. And the guy is called David Seville (Jason Lee). He is a songwriter, but isn't actually famous nor really good at it. So, as he discovers these tiny guests in his backyard, they form an unusual bond and make an agreement. Chipmunks get the place to stay and Dave gets some of their lyrics. As they all get hooked up, this cute little trio gets famous and on the stage. At one point, with Dave being their manager, and greedy record executive Ian Hawke (David Cross) who is more interested into getting lots of money than in their own sake, manages to break them up and keep young chipmunks on the stage just for cash. Now, Dave must get these guys back and take care of them, before Ian finds a way to use them some more.
