Apart is one pretty heart breaking story about a young couple falling in love. The movie starts with getting to know Noah (Josh Danziger) and Emily (Olesya Rulin). Two of them are portrayed since they were kids, because their friendship and relationship starts from there. What is interesting for this story is, that both of them have the same psychotic condition- induced delusional disorder. That gave them chances to get into each others mind since they were little. Firstly we see Noah in a wheelchair, sitting and acting almost like a plant, trying to remember anything form his past. More than one person tried to assure him that it's a good thing that he doesn't remember and that he shouldn't be digging through the past, but he keeps going on. He finally manages to remember Emily, but still doesn't know what kind of couple they were. Two of them have visions of horrific events that are about to happen later and they can't stop it. One of those events was when they were only eight years old, when the bus crashed and they ended up on a hospital and the other one was the fire that was started in their high school. The story is sometimes followed chronically and at times non-chronically, so one can easily be confused about what is real. Which is exactly the point, taken that the focus of the story are two persons with induced delusional disorder.
