From the creator Judd Winick and writer Bob Kane comes an animated movie that will set Batman fans on fire- Batman: Under the Red Hood. As we all know, Batman is the one responsible of the crime control in the Gotham City. He watches over the townsmen day and night and is always there to stop the crime. But, now, he has to face a totally different situation that he had encountered before- a mysterious man called Red Hood. As Red Hood is part of a kingpin amongst the criminals and part a raging vigilante, he is a pretty tough guy to stop. As it turns out, he does the same thing as Batman, but not with the same style- he doesn't have that moral code to keep him from killing people, both good and bad. At one point, Joker gets mixed up in all this mess and as the audience gets to see, Red Hood is the perfect balance between Batman and Joker. What is really interesting about this animated movie is, that we also get to see underneath some layers as the character of Batman gets developed. We get to see both his vulnerable side as he visits his father figure which disappeared the day Robin was killed. The audience gets included in the whole grieving process that Batman had to go through after the death of his partner and friend and how he struggled with the fact that he failed to save him.
