From the minds of Michael Armbruster and Shawn Ku comes a dramatic story about a couple which survives a great tragedy. This emotional drama will stop your life for about 100 minutes and keep you captivated and engaged throughout the whole duration of it. The story starts with a great tragedy. Kate (Maria Bello) and Bill (Michael Sheen) are a genuine couple that is having some marital problems for couple of years already. Their teenage son Sam (Kyle Gallner) is first year at the college and calls them every now and then. Although he sounds pretty stressed out, they think that it's just because he's not used to that way of living and learning. The next morning, they get the news on the TV, hearing about the mass shooting at Sam's college and start calling him immediately to check if he's all right. After a couple hours the couple gets visited by the police. Not only they get the information that he is dead, but get lots of other informations as well, like that he was the one who started the shooting as the first place. That was the morning that changed their lives forever. Lots of psychological moments are embed in this movie and throughout the whole story. This movie describes one of the most realistic real life scenarios and that is exactly what makes it even more terrifying.
