What is the movie Big Ginger about?
It is a story about a 12-year-old boy, Andy Nichol (Chase Ellison), a brilliant pupil, who, like most boys of his age is afraid to suffer with the raillery and punishment from his classmates and coevals. One day, Mr. Simon (Ed Harris), everyone’s favorite teacher puts Andy together with Stanely ‘Big G’ (Alexander Walters), the school’s oddest student and the biggest pariah to work on a critical term project. Having a very ‘funny’ for other kids appearance with head to big for his body, big ears and orange hair ‘Big G’ was the object of pranks and ridicules since grade school. After some time will pass, Andy will understand that this was not an accident for them to team up and work together; this was Mr. Simon’s plan. With the development of the story Mr. Simon is becoming a target of spiteful rumor after one of the school bullies is suspend for beating up his female class-mate. ‘Big G’ courageously confronts the bully and Andy looks at him from another angle. ‘Big G’ to his surprise is kind, tolerant, bright, descent boy with more dignity than other’s at school Andy has to know. After some events that follow the life of the two boys and their teacher is changed forever.
