How to Treat a Celebrity You're Dating

What is the movie Bloodwork about?
David Nahmod wrote the story inspired with modern day medicine and potential risks that we have to face with. Before any medicine gets mass produced, it has to get confirmed in human studies. That last stage is most critical, because people get exposed to unknown unwanted effects. During the Second World War, German Nazi scientist experimented on war prisoners and did things that are most monstrous to the current day. Modern medicine is based on discoveries that Nazis left behind them. Today, pharmaceutical companies don’t need war prisoners. Many people are willing to be test subjects for some small amounts of money. In Bloodwork we have two common college buddies, who are looking for an easy money. They come across an offer to be test subject for new antihistamine and to receive around 250 USD for every day of testing. With length of two weeks, this gives them opportunity to make some significant sum. They sign up and the treatment with new compound starts. At the beginning, the test reveals that human body reacts good to new substance. Some results are impressive. But soon they will realize that these great effects come with a high price. As they discover side effects, they will discover that facility doesn’t look right and that subjects are changing as persons. If the company about to discover something revolutionary or was the testing complete miss, is left to be seen near the end.
