What is the movie Blue Ruin about?
Peaceful life of a beach bum turns upside down when he decides to return to the place where he had spent his childhood. He’s obsessed with the idea of taking revenge, and soon finds himself tangled in a ferocious struggle in his attempt to defend his family. Dwight is a homeless man living in the outskirts of an entertainment park. He is used to this kind of life – he has nothing to lose, he has nothing to fear. But everything changes significantly once he learns that his longtime nemesis is about to be released from prison. It is quite clear that Dwight has no intention to turn the other cheek in this situation and so he comes up with a plan of successful assassination. After murdering his old enemy Dwight moves in with his Burgois sister and her kids. Surprisingly, but nobody reported that terribly conspicuous and bloody act of revenge. The reason for that is quite simple and Dwight is not going to like it – the victim’s grieving family is planning an act of apocalyptic vengeance too. Dwight finds himself in a dangerous situation and he has no other way than to accept the challenge.

I think it's the best Jeremy's Saulnier movie.
