Can you imagine the film where the genres like thriller and comedy get to mix up? Well, if you can't imagine something like that, you should probably see this movie. Burning Palms is the movie done by Christopher Landon, who was both writer and director. It revolves around five different stories, which are all happening in Los Angeles. The Green-Eyed Monster is the first story and revolves around a single dad Dennis (McDermott) and his new girl Dedra (Pike), who are waiting on dad's teenage girl Chloe (Meade). But, as Dedra gets to interact with both of them at the same time, she notices that they are too close for a regular father-daughter relationship. The second tale is called This Little Piggy. It focuses on the young couple Chad (Hoffman) and Ginny (Chung). Ginny loves her guy but is feeling a bit insecure, because he loves big breasts and she doesn't have them. So, she agrees on making love for the first time with him in order to put her mind at ease. Third one is Buyers Remorse, which deals with a gay couple Tom (Mount) and Geri (Macdissi). Two of them want to adopt a young African-American girl, and they manage to do so through the Black Market. They name her Mahogany. But something feels a bit off about her. Fourth story is about Mary Jane (Bell), who is a looking after triplets in the mansion along with her maids. When some of her valuable stuff go missing one of the kids forms his own Court TV in order to find out what's going on. The last one is Man Eater and deals with raped girl Sarah Cotton (Saldana) who manages to find her rape’s wallet under her bed and gets her mind creative for thinking his vengeance.
