After her break through in the movie "The Host", Saoirse Ronan gets yet another fascinating role in the movie "Byzantium". This time, she plays a young vamire girl Eleanor, who is 16 for centuries. Her and her mother Clara, who is played by Gemma Arterton, are moving from place to place in order to hide their tracks and not to be found. As she says, her story can never be told. There is a vampire code that says that they aren't allowed to talk about what they are. They are only to live among the humans and live on their blood. As they find shelter in a place called Byzantium, young Eleanor makes some friends, amongst which is Frank. After falling in love with him, she tells him their secret and breaks the code of vampires. After that, their lives go on, but there are consequences from both humans and their own kind. The director Neil Jordan gathered the amazing acting crew, that involves Barry Cassin and David Heap alongside the Saoirse Ronan and Gemma Arterton. Their amazing acting skills make the fascinating life of vampires very real life and captivating. This fantasy drama horror will keep you engaged during the whole 118 minutes of it's duration.
