When a single mom with a kid in her car gets jacked, you would think she'll just be pretty submissive and do everything she's told to. But, when Maria Bello gets to play the role, that's not the case. It all starts as Lorraine Burton (Maria Bello) and her son Chad (Connor Hill) make a stop at the gas station in order to buy some pizza ingredients for dinner. As she pays the bill and safely gets out of the store, gets into the car and then discovers that there is a man with a gun on their back seat. His name is Roy (Stephen Dorff). She drives away, as he instructs her and reassures him she'll do whatever he tells her to, just to save her son and herself. Throughout the movie, the audience gets to see her attempting to plea for help in various ways, while at the same time, trying not to be to visible with her intentions. Lots of action and fighting goes on in this movie, which is thing that the viewers will love the most. Perfect acting provided by both Maria Bello and Stephen Dorff bring their characters to life, and everyone can relate to a single mom fighting for her son's life, going from scared mom to a fearless woman, ready to kill.
