What is the movie Carnage about?
From world famous director Roman Polanski comes an outstanding comedy that will make you laugh throughout the whole time of the movie- Carnage. After two boys, Zachary and Ethan, had a fight in the Brooklyn park, and one beat the other one with a stick, smashing his teeth as well, their parents, the Cowans and the Longstreets, gathered in one apartment to discuss the situation. Penelope (Jodie Foster) and Michael Longstreet (John C. Reilly) hosted a meeting in their apartment with Nancy (Kate Winslet) and Alan Cowan (Christoph Waltz) as their hosts. Their intention was to iron out the situation that came up when their boys got into a fight. With Penelope and Michael being bit more liberal and Nancy and Alan more conservative couple, they have totally different view on what happened and whose fault that is. During the civilized conversation it turns out that Zachary Cowan attacked Ethan Longstreet, because Ethan wouldn't let him into his gang. So, Zachary picked up a stick and slapped him over the face, smashing his teeth along the way. But, as it always happens, parents never admit that their kid has done anything wrong. This time, there is two of the couples with that attitude. And as the story goes on, they get into a comic dispute over everything, including the things that don't have anything with the subject they came for. Watching high class and world famous actors getting into various comic situations is a blast.
