From talented writers Rashida Jones and Will McCormack comes a comedy piece that was directed by the Independent Spirit Award 2010 winner Lee Toland Krieger. The whole movie can be called a romantic comedy because it sets off with the main characters in love and in a relationship and deteriorates from that point on. The main plot revolves around two best friends and lovers Jesse (Andy Sandberg) and Celeste (Rashida Jones). At the very beginning the audience finds out that they have actually been married for six years and now they are filing for divorce, they aren't in love any more. But, on the surface, they get along pretty good. It seems pretty odd and unusual that they actually spend a lot of time together, and even the fact that Jesse lives in Celeste's house makes things really confusing. He is currently unemployed and she is a successful trend forecaster. While still seeing with their old friends and Celeste working for an important client with her coworker Scott (Elijah Wood), Jesse starts dating with another girl. At that point, Celeste is the one who needs to fight with her feelings that suddenly appeared. The plausibility and every day felling that the plot of this movie has is making it incredibly hilarious alongside with the funny situations the characters find themselves in. This 92 minute long comedy drama will surely entertain you.
