If dull metallic taste is left in mouth after good horror, don’t miss chance to watch Chained. This is actually between psycho-thriller and a horror. This achievement of Jennifer Chambers Lynch is filmed entirely in Canada. It is little bit refreshing and makes think a lot what would you do if you were in place of kidnapped boy. Actors are not so much known, but that doesn’t keep them from doing great job. One of main role is given to Vincent D’Onofrio. His character is twisted sadistic serial killer Bob who works as taxi driver. Bob’s tactic is to stalk women before he takes them home where he kills them slowly. One day he brings home woman with 9 year old son Tim (Eamon Farrn). Bob keeps Tim after killing his mother with planes for little boy. He calls him Rabbit and keeps him on chain while killing in front of him. Twisted sick psychopath Bob has obsession to have control over everything. His relation with Rabbit is easy to see while they have conversations. Bob offers good advices such : "Listening is good" and "Following through is the key to life" but he fails to take them. Rabbit is forced to learn anatomy and ways of killing but he doesn’t lose moral compass given by family. Young actress Conor Leslie had great performance as Angie. She supposed to be first victim of Rabbit. If situations wasn’t serious, conversation between Angie and Rabbit would be funny for the moments. Chained is perfect blend of thriller and horror that keeps attention during the entire time.
