Felicity Jones has a great start in the cinematographer career with this movie, she possess an extremely likable screen appearance. The story of the film is sweet and innocent, but not too much, the Kim’s character makes the movie not the annoying cheesy romance and this is very good. The Alps where the film was filmed are absolutely gorgeous, after films like this, you want to go on holidays. The performances all round are wonderful but like I said earlier this movie belongs to Jones. She is just lovely. I hope you enjoy it.

The movie is banal, mostly funny how banal it is, and in some place it was even sickening how banal a movie can be. Sickening for another “Cinderella” for her bad performing skills, as well as her character was not very interesting as well. I didn’t like how the scenario writers have shown the difference between social parts of the society, about children with social traumas, and finally I didn’t like that the scenario writers didn’t even thought about making something interesting, of course what the heck doing that for if we have another female American dream completed. The humor is not sparkling, but for teenagers it is ok, I guess if not Ed Westwick, probably no one would go for this movie.

The motto of this movie, as far as I remember was “the story of Cinderella in Alps”, and I guess it is more than enough to say that. Well it is not the worse romantic story I have ever seen, the story has its advantages and disadvantages. The zest of the movie is its wonderful nature, as well as the fun kids had while being on snowboards. The thing that made me sad was that the scenario writers could not make up a more interesting way of how the young and poor girl will be able to earn some money, so the parents of her beloved man would not tell her that she is with their son just for money, quite an interesting move I should say. The second “zest” of the movie, was the actor who performed the main role, of course everyone recognized that it is Chuck from the “Gossip Girl”, it is simply impossible not to recognize this man with cruel and sinful face.

I saw this movie only due to one reason, I loved the main character Ed Westwick, who was one of the main characters in the TV show “Gossip Girl”, I would be honest, and say that Ed is the only thing this movie can be interesting to its viewers. On the basis of the movie, there is a silly sort of Cinderella story, where there is a girl from simple family, and a boy from a very rich one, the only difference is that the all Cinderella story has been manipulated in a wrong way, as a result we see this failure of the movie. Probably when the famous “Chuck Buzz” was signing the contract for performing in the movie, he was either drunk or thought that he is signing a contract for another scenario.
