What is the movie Creature about?
The story of the movie takes place in the backwoods of Lousiana. A group of friends is heading to New Orleans and makes a stop at a roadside store. The owner of the store, Chopper tells them a legend of Lockjaw – a god-like creature, who is half-alligator and half-man with a lethal disease known as squaids. The legend is about a man named Grimley, whose family was killed by a white alligator. This drove Grimley mad and he was altered into a terrible creature since then. It is rumored that now he lives in the depth of the local swamps.
The main characters get interested in the legend and decide to take a trip to a place where the creature was born, deep in the backwoods. When they encamp for the night, Lockjaws proves he is not just a local myth and the friends realize that the locals are hiding a terrifying secret…
