It is hard to find a good thriller that includes high school cuties without excessive violence and cheap horror elements. Malik Bader took a story written by Sonny Mallhi and made a movie that is capable to keep attention of wide audience. Title Crush could be misleading. Do not expect any romance. This movie is about real crush and nothing more on one side, and very serious stalking. Action of the movie revolves around couple of high school characters. These characters are formed correctly and they bring spectators closer to the movie. Scott (Lucas Till) was good soccer player until his knee injury. He is focused on the recovery. Because of his blonde hair and smoking hot body, girls from high school pay attention to him a lot. All sorts of girls- popular, shy and possessive. One of them openly admits that she has crush on him. She is a shy one and she does some twisted stuff every time when she has crush. Soon enough someone starts stalking Scott and things get more and more tense as time goes by. Threatening messages, misleading leads, and emotional state of young characters will lead to some hasty actions. This leads to verbal fights and general bad emotional state of all characters. And when some are convinced that they know series of violent events is going to happen. Crush is one of the thrillers that will provoke audience and present unexpected twist.
