Meet young Jake Wincott (Booboo Stewart). He is 13 years old and he is a local troublemaker in the city of Cedar Ridge in California. His parents are out of town on some funeral, so it's only him and his brother at home. Instantly, he calls his friends to come over. But, as he goes through the woods, he accidentally comes across a rape. He manages to save the girl, who turns out to be Heather Tocquigny, Detective Dave Reinhart's daughter. Although everyone still call him the detective, Dave (Martin Kove) isn't an actual police officer. He was retired not long ago and he can't get used to it or fight it. As the story goes on, we see that Dave was the one who was investigating the case of a murdered prom queen girl that happened a couple of years ago. Now, that same killer is on the loose again and is waiting to get another victim. With Jake by her side, Heather gets attacked by the killer, but also gets a support both mentally and physically. Jake may be 13 years old and a kid, but he knows his kicking moves that help in the time of crisis. Will they manage to catch the criminal before another girl gets hurt? With Danny Trejo playing one of the side roles, this movie is with certainty adventurous and will keep you attention.
