Steve Carell is famous for his high budget unrealistic comedies. Date Night is the same type of movie that we used to see Steve in. In this action comedy he plays Phil Foster who is married to Claire Foster (Tina Fey). This married couple got stuck in daily routines and they don’t have energy even for decent night out. Their interactions are more routine and chore than enjoying and sharing free time. Determined to change this, Phil and Claire go out one night to fancy restaurant. Because they are late reservation expired and out of despair they claim that they are Triplehorn couple in order to get seats. This is the moment when plot starts and when everything begins. Happy that they have their seats Fosters are about to face with problems that Triplehorn couple made. Mistaken for another couple Phil and Claire have to deal with angry criminals that are trying to get their money back. This opens door for many funny situations and comedy starts mixing with action. Mark Wahlberg is starring as Holbrook who is Claire’s former client and possible ex lover. He will help them but it is up them to run and fight with furious mobsters. They will find real Triplehorn couple and that is also very funny. Mila Kunis acts Whippit, the Ms Triplehorn. Car chases are unreal but exciting. Production is done very well. Date Night one of those movies that will keep your attention and you will not remember much after two weeks.
