What would happen if the Earth faced the situation, where the entire life on it is in danger? How would the people on Earth react? This story tries to develop this idea into a two hour drama with lots of sci fi elements. It begins with a simple reporter called Jenny Lerner (Téa Leoni), who accidentally stumbles across some information about someone called Elle, while investigating the life of the Secretary Alan Rittenhouse (James Cromwell). After doing some more digging in that field, Jenny finds out something she shouldn't have. Ellie is no woman or lover or anything like that. It turns out that Elle is, in fact, the name of two asteroids, which are on a collision course with Earth. The smaller one can cause the destruction of the whole New York and the big one could destroy the life on Earth as we know it. For the past 8 months the government of USA and Russia have worked together on building the biggest spaceship and forming a crew that could stop these asteroids, but just in the case, they have also built a place that can serve as a hideout for maximum million of people, which will be chosen by lottery. After the first one hits, people start panicking and the chaos is taking over. Will they manage to survive the next wave?
