When a school ninny Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon) enters the seventh grade, he and his older brother – teenager musician – needs to straighten out the matters with the fruitless attempts of their parents to bring them two together. No matter what you are going to do, please don’t ask Greg how his summer vacation went, because he definitely doesn’t want to speak about it. Now, when he has entered another grade, senior school, he starves to forget these three past months and one of the events in particular. To Greg’s misfortune, Rodrick, his older brother, knows everything about this event. All the secrets become revealed sooner or later, especially when you loose your diary and it gets into unneeded hands. Greg gets into a new, more complicated and more responsible world and makes wrong steps, ignoring right friendship and starting wrong relationships…
