What is the movie Dungeons & Dragons about?
If you have ever played the game of Dungeons and Dragons, then you probably already know what this movie is all about. If you haven't, then here is a crash course- there are lots of races (elves, dwarves, humans, trolls), there are lots of jobs (mage, warrior, druid, thief), and there is a lot of adventure when they go on a quest. Of course, there are mythical creatures like dragons and nothing gets left behind. So, this story starts with the Empire of Izmer and it's riches. Their young and beautiful empress Savina wants everyone to be as equally prosper and successful, but there is a big gap between Mages, an elite group of those who use magic, and the commoners. One of the great Mages, Profion is not pretty happy about empires' plan and he wants to take her down by convincing the council that she is unfit to rule the country. So, now Savina must hire a group of mercenaries to get her Rod of Savrille, a mythical sceptre that enables her control over Red Dragons, which are even more mighty than the Gold ones she now has and which are wanted by Profiron. That is where two silly thieves Ridley and Snailscome into mix- they are the ones to get her the Rod of Savrille. And that is a totally new adventure.
