Meet Nick Halsey (Will Ferrell). He is an alcoholic and is having officially the worst day of his life. The day starts off as he's being fired from his job after working in the same company for 16 years. After that, he gets back home, only to find out that his wife had kicked him out of the house, replaced all the locks in the house as well as the security codes to the alarms and moved all his stuff on the front yard. With no idea what to do and hopeless as he is, he decides on living on the lawn for a while. At one point, while living that kind of life, he meets a kid from the neighbourhood, Kenny (Christopher Jordan Wallace). With his mom taking care of an old woman leaving him to play on the streets, two of them start an unusual friendship. When Nick gets notified that he must move his stuff off the lawn in five days, he organizes a yard sale and Kenny helps him with that. Two of them help each other out not even being aware of that, but they both turn out better than they were before. With Will Ferrell and Christopher Jordan Wallace, this comedy piece is something you should never miss.
