After a while Jon comes back to his birth town, a small village on the coast of Massachusetts, Fairhaven. Seeing his old buddies from school reminds him of long lost days of their childhood when he was a high school football star and had it all, at least he thought so. But, getting back in this town also brings him a dose of reality, that he can't run forever and that he needs someone to settle with. And when he tells everything to his high school friend Sam, who got married early, got a girl and then divorced, they sit and wait for the third friend of their teen years to show up. And when Dave's dad dies, here he is. The trio is united again. There is a lot of personal growth and development of the persons shown in this movie. Also, one of the important themes is long lasting friendship between these guys. Although they fell apart as a high school trio, after all these years, it seems like they have been at the same spot all along. Chris Messina, Rich Sommer and Tom O'Brien get to play the three friends, whose lives are the focus of this movie. Director Tom O'Brien made sure to make you hooked up and firmly in your seats during this 81 minute long comedy drama.
