In the sea of action movies, thrillers, romantic comedies and low budget horrors, family movies are real rare thing. This probably happened because of rise of 3D movies for youngsters. Roge Kumble took a story written by Michael Charnes and Josh Gilbert and directed the family movie called Furry Vengeance. Main character is Dan Sanders who lives with his family in remote place in Oregon. This place is full with wildlife and it peaceful green oasis. After Neal Lyman (Ken Jeong) offers to Dan to clean forest and replace it with shopping centre, some strange things begin to happen. At one point Dan’s wife Tammy Sanders starts to worry for her husband. Things that are happening to Dan are work of local furry animals. They are trying to do whatever they can in order to stop Neal and his planes. They are fighting to save their homes and their woods. Brendan Fraser and Brooke Shields did a great job acting as a husband and wife. Script is little bit predictable but that is not minus because this movie is filmed for the youngest audience. Message that Furry Vengeance sends to children is positive. Movie also brings animals closer to the children and reveals them as funny, good and determined creatures. Events are unrealistic and they are overemphasized like in cartoons, which makes this movie very funny to kids.
