The story about gangsters always start with some legend of a criminal getting busted and thrown into jail. Well, this one begins with a criminal named Mickey Cohen. This guy is dirty and really cruel, and only does what is good for him. His goal is to control all the crime in the city. As he had already bought himself police officers and judges, the laws don't apply to him any more. And he is molested by no one, except Seargant John O'Mara, who is a World War II veteran. Chief of the police William Parker makes a list of men, who are ready to get with him in the war against Mickey Cohen. As they get ready to do their worst, they leave their badges at home. As they said: "We're not investigating a case. We are going to war". In all that chaos, one of their five-men crew falls in love with Mickey's girl, who is played by Emma Stone. As the story goes on, we learn a lot about the guy as well as about the gangster leader. This action crime drama was directed by Ruben Fleischer and released in january 2013. It's casting crew did an amazing job and delivered their roles with passion and quality.
