What can three unemployed parapsychology professors do when they get fired from their regular jobs? You might think that each of them will go fishing or at least live a peaceful life. But, that is not the case with these three. As Dr. Peter Venkman (Bill Murray), Dr. Raymond Stantz (Dan Aykroyd) and Dr. Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis) get all fired from their regular jobs, after the board finds out that they are dealing with the occult, they decide to form a company that deals with ghosts and paranormal activity called "Ghostbusters". At first, no one believes in what they do, but as the ghosts start showing their faces all over the town, Ghostbusters find themselves overbooked at one point. The city is quiet, but not for long. Then, they get to deal with an unknown demon that has gotten through a gate they have found during one of their investigations in the city. So, the question is, can they defeat this unknown demon, which seems to be causing chaos of Biblical proportions, bringing Hell to the Earth, or not? If they don't manage to defeat this evil creature, they are all doomed, for sure. With Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis in main roles and Sigourney Weaver playing leading female role, this movie can be anything but dull.
