Have you ever wondered what happens when a person dies? And why do weddings have that part "until death do you part"? This movie explains it all. Two main characters are Sam (Patrick Swayze) and Molly (Demi Moore), who are a young and very happy couple. They have recently got married and are just moving into their new apartment. After coming back from a theatre one night, two of the get ambushed in a small dark alley. Sam gets killed. After that, she remains alone, but Sam is still there- as a ghost. As he starts searching for the killer, he gets to realize that his death wasn't just a coincidence, but it was all planed ahead. As soon as he has it all figured out who and why, he needs to find the way to tell Molly about everything. But, how, when he is a ghost? She can not see him or hear him, or eve feel him. So, he gets into contact with a medium called Oda Mae Brown (Whoopi Goldberg). Funny part is that Oda doesn't even know that she has those abilities and at first thinks that she is going insane. Soon, she realizes that she can help someone and both her and the ghost are on the mission to save Molly's life.
