Have you imagined a horror with a fantasy and sci-fi elements in it? Well, in the case you didn't, here is one that will show you how that looks like. It all starts in 1831, on the Halloween day, October 31st. As the people that live in town called Hollowglen gather around the fire, they are performing a holy ritual. They take a deformed newborn baby, that they are pretty afraid of, because it might be the devil, and toss it into the fire. Since the mother of the newborn is a witch, she is more than angry and upset, so she curses the whole town. Every resident of this town gets to suffer the same faith as her. From that moment on, each year on the same date a strange creature, a Goblin, appears and takes all the newborn kids that it can get it's hands on. Years pass and this legend becomes nothing but a scary Halloween story that parents use to scare their kids. One family, however lives a different fate. Neil (Gil Bellows) and Kate Perkins (Camile Sulivan) are finally in Hollowglen after a hours long drive. There are Nikki (Tracy Spiridakos), Neil's daughter, her best friend Cammy (Erin Boyes) and their young baby son Nathan. They get warned to get out of the town during the Halloween, but they decide to disregard the warning. Soon, they find out that the legend is too real.
