Grace Unplugged is a music drama directed and written by Brad J. Silverman, starring AJ Michalka, Kelly Thiebaud and James Denton. It is an inspirational movie about an 18 year old christian singer and songwriter. This beautiful and talented girl so far isn't recognized outside the church. She performs in the church every Sunday with her father Johnny who is a director at Freedom Community Chapel, a small church in a town in Alabama. Her father is a former rockstar and was on top of the charts during his career. He soon crash landed after his music stopped being popular. He found Christ and new love for his family. One day, his daughter Grace leaves for Los Angeles because she managed to land a record deal with her father's former manager and producer. She cuts off contacts with her parents and only one question remains. Will she reject her fate or manage to rediscover it? Grace Unplugged is an amazing movie, you don't have to be a believer in order to enjoy this wonderful movie. Acting is brilliant and so is the music. It is a story of children leaving parents in search of a better life. It is a story about faith and how important it is to some people. This movie will definitely make you think about certain aspects of life, and that's a trademark of an excellent movie, definitely see it!
