If you are tired from drama, horrors and overcomplicated stories then Guns, Girls and Gambling is right choice. This movie is a blend of comedy and thriller with excessive shooting, and mix of commonly seen stereotypes. Christian Slater acts John Smith who got punched in the face countless times during this movie. John competes as an Elvis impersonator in LA and soon after that everyone starts hitting him in the face and asking for the mask. Impersonator of Elvis took the mask worth millions dollars and owner wants his artifact back. In chase for the mask participate native American The Indian (Matthew Willing), The Cowboy (Jeff Fahey), gang of Elvis impersonators, greedy sheriffs and jaw dropping blonde stunner The Blonde (Helena Mattsson). Many more are searching for the mask. Each one of these professional artifact retrievers and shady service providers has unique skills and favourite weapon. Their encounters with regular criminals and competition end up with dead bodies. Poor John Smith doesn’t have the idea where the mask is and who is setting him up. He has luck more than he knows. Chase is limited on 24 hours and all “professionals” are eager to find the mask. There is constant action, shooting and killing. Because action is placed in Las Vegas a lot of scenes are filmed in casinos. If you are looking for fast movie and you love seeing Christian Slater smacked in the face over and over again Guns, Girls and Gambling is thing you must not skip. As cherry on top of the cream Gary Oldman stars as The Elvis and has memorable line “Sorry there can be only one king”.
