Superheroes are always good guys and they often find themselves working up the wind, causing more damage to themselves only to protect the citizens of the city they are protecting. Well, this one is an exception. Hancock (WIll Smith) is one pretty unusual superhero. One of the main parts of his weirdness is that he doesn't actually care for people and doesn't consider himself a superhero. He drinks, curses, is pretty rude and doesn't care for the rest of the world. Whenever he tries to do a good thing, the city ends up even more destroyed than if he didn't do anything at all. So, he stops trying, because people don't appreciate his help. After Hancock manages to save a guy from getting run over by a train, and also causes a billion dollar damage, Ray (Jason Bateman), the guy who was saved, decides to repay him by fixing his professional image. Since he is a public relations man, he already has a plan, but he takes him home for a dinner first. There, Hancock gets to meet whole Ray's family- wife Mary (Charlize Theron) and son Aaron (Jae Head). From the beginning on, there is a tension between Mary and Hancock and no one seems to be getting why, but as the film goes on, she reveals everything, from their origin to why she is so angry with Hancock.
