It's been a long time since a decent ghost movie was put out. Fortunately Haunter is here, and it is more than decent, it is excellent! Haunter is a horror mystery movie starring Abigail Breslin, Peter Outerbridge and Michelle Nolden. The story in the movie revolves around a family who lives the same day over and over again. This idea is pretty fresh, even tho it has been used in some movies before this one, but this movie does it with an interesting twist. This movie does many things really well, but one of them is done perfectly; as soon as you think that you have it all figured it out, the movie puts out another twist leaving you guessing once again. The movie is not very scary, there are a few jump scares but the atmosphere in the Haunter is pretty creepy. Main actress Abigail Breslin does an excellent job at playing Lisa, she does it in a very convincing way and she pretty much carries the movie. Some might mind that this movie is only fifty minutes long, but that's not a big problem. The movie might remind some viewers of The Twilight Zone, and that's a good thing. If you want to watch a spooky movie with a good plot and an interesting twist, you are in the right place!
