After leaving her mother and father to go and pursue her luck in the big city, Jana Cramer, who plays the lead female role of Faith, soon finds a job and meets a guy, she marries afterwards. And it all seems so perfect, until one day she sees him getting arrested and thrown into jail. After trying to be there for him, he sends her back home, in North Carolina. Her father Calvin, who is played by Gerald McRaney, takes her back and lets her stay in his house. There she finds peace and understanding, she was needed to find. Spending time with her dad and talking to him, catching up with him, makes her realize just what it was that was missing. This movie is characterised by the critics as the parallel to the "Prodigy Son". The director and writer of the screenplay for this film was John Ward and he gave his best to show a delicate relationship between a father and his daughter. A good romance with some drama elements and a family tone to it certainly goes to the list for a nice family movie marathon, where all of the family members can enjoy and relax.
