Hide Away, also titled A Year in Mooring is a 88 minute drama that tells the story about a businessman Young Mariner who is trying to fix an old boat as well as his life. As he arrives on a dock on a lake, he looks for an owner of a particular boat he wants to buy. The Ancient Mariner (James Cromwell) shows up and gets to talk to him. When Young Mariner asks "What are the two best days of a sailor's life?" and the old one answers "The one when he buys a boat and the one when he sells it." That portrays how the priorities change over time and how the way of thinking changes as well. Young Marine bought the Hesperus, which was in pretty bad shape at the time, but has devoted himself to repairing it. What he didn't know is, by repairing it he managed to repair his own life and put his mind to ease when it comes to his past. With a little help from the Ancient Mariner, Young Mariner gets his life back and falls in love with the Waitress (Ayelet Zurer) who works in a small coffee shop by the dock. Various critics have characterized this film as "poignantly beautiful" as well as "a masterpiece". Josh Lucas, who had proven himself as a very talented actor in the main role in this film, was magnificent.
