Many of us have always dreamed of visiting beaches like ones in Jamaica and see the place in it's everyday light, to experience their culture and their way of living, even just for a few days. But we all always like to come back home. The director Sudz Sutherland gives an amazing image of a harsh life in Jamaica and how three separate individuals find their ways after they have been deported to what is sopoused to be their home. One story follows a young mother, Marva Johnson, played by Tatyana Ali, who has been deported back to Jamaica and who had her kids taken away from her. Now she struggles to find a job, because no one wants to hire a "criminal". Another story follows a bad guy who's trying to make things right, Dulsay Mooreland, played by CCH Pounder, but keeps on getting into all sorts of bad actions with bad guys. The third story is about a young man Dunston Williams, played by Lyriq Bent, who is in over his head and just tries to stay alive in a country that is a totally foreign place for him. This 104 minutes long drama shows Jamaica and how the life goes there and what laws apply. It will for sure make you think twice about sun kissed beaches after you've seen this brutal way of living.
