Writers who work for big shot magazines often have to do the most incredible things in order to get a really great story. Sometimes they have to do some experiments and researches. But, what do you thing how far do they go with their research? This is the movie that shows what happens when two such reporters meet each other and get to meet their match. Benjamin Barry (Matthew McConaughey) is a guy that works as an advertising executive in a large company. While he thinks he has great ideas on how to sell something, his two female co workers think otherwise. So, three of them make a bet, where he says that he can sell himself to any girl and two girls get to choose the target. Unfortunately for him, they pick a hot blonde, who happens to be Andie Anderson (Kate Hudson), a magazine reporter, who is looking to hook up with someone in order to write an article on how to lose a guy in 10 days, as a bet made with her boss. So, their meeting is the point where the whole comedy begins. As he is trying more than average to win her over, she is trying to be as worst as possible as she can by doing everything girls do wrong in their relationships. Who will stand the ground in the end? Or will they both get blown to pieces in this unusual war?
