With a cute orphan boy Hugo as a leading role in this adventure drama, there is nothing that you can't expect to see. The story begins in Paris in 1930s as we get to meet Hugo and his father. Soon after he gets to see a magical mechanical man whose chest can be opened by a heart shaped key, Hugo gets notified that his father had died in a fire, which makes him an orphan from that moment on. With his father gone, Hugo sets his mind on finding that heart shaped key and see what's that mechanical man all about. And that is the day when all of his adventures start. During one of them, he meets George Melies, a shopkeeper who is also on his own adventures, but discover that they have an amazing bond and have lots in common. As they find the hear shaped key and unlock the secrets of the mechanical man, they get a glimpse into the past after seeing some of the drawings the robot had drawn. This family drama adventure was directed by Martin Scorsese and written by Brian Selznick in original. And throughout its 126 minutes it will keep both you and your kids hooked up onto your chairs.
