When two young persons get married not long after they get into the relationship, not knowing each other for long time at all, it is normal that all friends and family are a little worried about their marriage. And there are always those speculations: "If it lasts for 6 months/ a year/.. it'll be good." And so this movie is based on those assumptions- how long can a marriage like that last? A month? A year? Whole life? From the producers of The Bridget Jones's Diary and Love Actually comes another comedy romance in the same style- I Give It a Year. It's all about a young couple, Nat and Josh are getting married after only seven months of dating. And they think they're perfect for each other. What they don't know is that their families and friends are just waiting for them to fall apart. And they give this marriage a year. Throughout this romantic comedy we get to see a young couple in various occasions and various situations that lead their marriage in temptation. Will they be able to hold it together and go through with all of that? Rose Byrne is the main female role, that is Nat, and her partner in crime is Rafe Spall, who plays the role of Josh. When the writer of Borat is doing the job right, you get an amazing comedy and 97 minutes of quality laugh.
