A clinically depressed teenager gets a new start after he checks himself into an adult psychiatric ward.When you see Zach Galifianakis on the casting list, you already know that it's going to be more than funny and that is the sign that you should definitely watch it as soon as possible. The main character of this movie is actually Craig (Keir Gilchrist), a teenage boy who got admitted to psychiatric ward for adults. It starts off with Craig in high school. He is in the gifted program, which doesn't get him neither girls nor the friends. And his mind is set on his friends girlfriend. So, with suicidal tendencies in his mind, Craig goes in the hospital and checks himself. At first he thinks they'll just do an observation and let him go home, but as he finds out that he'll be there for at least next five days, he gets pretty scared and nervous. As the juvenile ward being renovated at that moment, he is assigned to spend the time in the adult ward. There he meets Bobby (Zach Galifianakis), who shows him around and two of them start forming an unlikely bond. As he gets a bit more comfortable with the area he's now in. he notices a young blonde girl, Noelle (Emma Roberts) and starts falling for her as they get to meet and get closer each day. Therapy that he has is based on drawing, talking, singing, helps Bobby to rehearse for his interview and things like that. After all, he starts making his own group of friends and starts feeling good in his own skin.
