I think that they Cary Fukunaga the young director of the movie “Jane Eyre” has made a great job, as he successfully done his task – the new story written by Charlotte Bronte, is entertaining and truly revealed the character of the main hero. After all, Charlotte Bronte was the person who timidly put into Jane’s character the first «feminist " social mood, the consequences of which we see today.
Under the cover of a gentle and innocent girl – I see a game of passion, thirst for freedom and the desire to manage her own life on an equal basis with men, as well as the fear that her whole life flashes, and she will not feel her true strength. I think Mia Wasikowska is simply the best option for the movie, and I am glad she performed so well and didn’t disappoint me.

"Jane Eyre" – is my favorite novel. Probably it is the first serious book I ever read in my life, I remember the first time I got acquainted with the book I was eleven years old. This book has truly impressed me. The best thing about this novel is that it is a novel with a happy ending, with a belief in the possibility of happiness for those who deserve it, happiness which is easier to proclaim than to defend in the brutal, cold and indifferent world. I waited very long and anxiously the release of the book as I couldn’t wait anymore until seeing how the pages of my favorite book will finally gain a life of their own, what can possibly better than that? It is like holding a dream in your arms.

As about the movie I should say, that it left me with a very pleasant impression. Michael Fassbinder and Mia Wasikowska – are just perfect, in my opinion, Mr. Rochester and Jane Eyre . Michael is one of my favorite actors, and I did not doubt that he will deal very great with this role. And he didn’t disappoint me! Mia was also perfect - I saw simplicity, intelligence, humility, spiritual purity inherent in her character. I saw the real Jane Eyre, exactly how I imagined her while reading the book. Yes, she is not that beautiful (this is the idea, as Jane really never was very beautiful), but she is a real pleasure to watch. Finally, I would like to add that he film perfectly recreates the era, as well as the spirit of the time. It is definitely the best adaptation of the famous novel.
