Based on an amazing novel written by Steven Gould, comes even more outstanding movie Jumper, that was directed by Doug Liman. At the very beginning of the movie we get to meet David Rice (Hayden Christensen). He is a typical high school kid in Ann Arbor. He's not very popular in the school, so he gets picked on by his classmates. And he is in love with his classmate, Millie (Rachel Bilson). One day, during winter time, he gets into trouble as he falls into water and starts drowning. That is the moment when he discovers that he can "jump" anywhere he wants. As his father is a drunker and alcoholic, he runs away from home and decides that he is going to get some easy money by robbing banks with new skills he discovered. Along the way he encounters another guy who can do the same thing- Griffin (Jamie Bell). And what Griffin tells him is that there is an ancient battle between good and evil, and he is now in the middle of it. There are also vicious hunters that are under the leadership of Roland (Samuel L. Jackson) and they are up to get him and kill him. Now, David must rethink the whole strategy of living, because he might take Millie into danger.
