Proof that you can have a movie like this without a polemic against successful women, or some man in a dress threatening to take off his earrings and pull out a gun.

Class differences and family resentments add to the hubbub surrounding an African-American wedding on Martha's Vineyard in this perceptive, faith-based romantic comedy.

It is an awesome movie; I totally loved it, and was very happy to see it. All the actors have done their job simply perfect! I have probably never seen a better movie which will show life the way it is, I am glad there were not made regular Hollywood effects where everyone is happy and smiling to each other, I hate when everything is not true and not the way it usually is in real life. Here we see a family drama, and people who are not able to face it properly, some of them try and succeed, while the other ones are not really trying, and it results on each member of the family.

I think those people who didn’t really like the movie, simply haven’t sensed it, because actually it is a very sincere movie where everything is full of spirit, I think it is especially important movie for the girls who are engaged, as they probably lived the same emotions as the main hero of the movie. When there are so many things to do, emotions and also new relatives with who you are supposed to be nice, while you are very nervous. Well what can I say, it is not easy at all, but it is life, and we all are going through it, some of us are going through it even not once, lol. And if there are some unpleasant surprises, then you do not understand immediately how to go through them with understanding, even if it is something two people are promising to each other.

I didn’t like the movie, it is silly the behavior characters in the movie. It is a regular comedy in the Tyler Perry’s style, where everyone has some secrets which later evolve into a huge scandal. Of course everyone grows an entire drama of the scandal, and as a result the whole wedding was almost called off, but I am glad it wasn’t as I loved the main heroes and wanted only all the best for them, as well as Angela Bassett was simply gorgeous , as usual, I don’t know what is so special about this woman, but every role she performs with such a grace, that I feel like she is originally from some royal family, I guess she is one of those people about who you can say they have “blue” blood in their veins. Without her the movie wouldn’t have worked out.
