Movie Junkhearts is a fantastic creation brought to the audience by a writer Simon Frank and a director Tinge Krishnan. It bears an important message about how helping others can change everyone's lives. The movie follows two parallel stories. One deals with Frank (Eddie Marsan), who is a former soldier, haunted by his violent past. He meets young Lynette (Candese Reid), who is sleeping on the streets and offers her a place to stay. At first, Lynette suspects that he is after getting some, but after he promises her there is nothing behind the offer, she takes on it. Along the way, we get to meet Lyndette's boyfriend Danny (Tom Sturridge), who deals drugs and gets in the way of Frank and her as well, beating her and using her as always. The other story follows a young and successful Christine (Romola Garai), who is a single mom and who happens to be in a relationship with a married man. But at one point, she needs to focus on her mom, who had become ill. Performances that are given by the leading actors were outstanding, foremost by the Eddie Marsan. This movie will keep you engaged and captivated until the very end of the movie.
