Vampires are exploited a lot in the film industry. Seductive, always good looking with experience and knowledge beyond human capabilities, they seem by far more superior than us. Many people have an ultimate wish to become a vampire. Xan Cassavetes comes from Los Angeles and film making is not a new thing to her. Her last brain child is the story for movie Kiss of the Damned. She also directed movie and we can see how much passion she managed to fit in the film. Story goes around female vampire Djuna (Joséphine de La Baume). She meets Paolo (Milo Ventimiglia) and instant passion is born. She resists to her urges and his charm but at one point she gives herself to passion and avalanche of emotions. Interaction between Djuna and Paolo is captured nicely and looks convincing. There are some steaming hot scenes in this part of movie. Plot gets interesting when Djunas wild sister Mimi (Roxane Mesquilda) comes for an unplanned visit. She enjoys playing with newly formed vampire Paolo and reveals her real nature. She threats to ruin Djunas love and tends to endanger whole vampire community. Inexperienced as a vampire Paolo doesn’t realize gravity of the situation. He is absorbing fast all new informations but lack of experience in world of immortals hampers him in his intentions. What is vampire community going to do and what codes they follow are things that keeps audience to watch Kiss of the Damned with high attention. Movie contains nudity and hot scenes inappropriate for children. However it is good choice for couples and close friends.
