After being successful for all those years in the world of video gaming, Lara Croft and The Tomb Rider has come to movie screens. The basics of the video game was adapted into a movie by Simon West, who was also the director. The screenplay was done by John Zinman and Patrick Massett. And it's no wonder that fabulous Angelina Jolie got the main role. As a descendant of one of the richest families in Britain, Lara Croft is continuing her fathers work and is collecting antique artefacts from ruins of temples and various buildings. As she can afford anything she wants, she has improved her skills in fighting, hand-to-hand combat, using various guns and weapons, mastering various languages and has the knowledge of every artefact she collects. As the moment comes, when all the planets in the solar system align and then is the only chance when you can use one specific artefact to control the time, certain secret society called Illuminati is after the key that can help them do that. But, the key is hidden in Lara's mansion, and she happens to find it, along with the note from her father. So, the curiosity does its thing and she explores all the information about that key, which puts her in danger, because the Illuminati want the key. When they manage to steal the key, she must find the way to get it back and keep that key a secret.
